Does safeBubble sell my data?
No — never. There are no data brokers, no advertisers, and no ad or marketing SDKs in the app. The only third-party service is crash reporting, used solely to fix bugs. Subscriptions are the entire business model, which means you are the customer, not the product.
Who can see my location?
Only the people in bubbles you've joined — and every bubble is invitation-only. There is no public discovery, no "nearby users," and no way for strangers to find you.
Are messages really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. Direct messages use the Signal protocol pattern — X3DH key exchange plus the Double Ratchet — with keys generated and stored on your device. Ciphertext is all the server ever sees.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You drop to the free tier — nothing more. No credit card is collected up front, so there's no surprise charge and no forced payment. Upgrade later if you want more room.
Will it drain my battery?
Battery care is designed in, not bolted on. Motion sensors keep the GPS off while you're stationary, updates adapt to how you're moving, and location points are batched to wake the radio as rarely as possible.
